PAPA'S PUPPIES LULLABYE

video

WHAT A NICE PAPA.

Hello Hounders. This is Miss Shiloh creating today's posting along with my little brother Max. We were weighed up at Doc's places yesterday afternoon and I weighed in an 153 lbs and Max only made it to 143 lbs. We're siblings but we don't remember which of us popped into the world first. I'm a couple of inches taller at the shoulders and somewhat longer from

chest to rump; Max is a bit more stockier than me, aren't you Max? Anyway I've posted our picture along with our other siblings from back in April 2007 when we were a couple of days old over her to the left. Just below it is our 1 year birthday party on April 21, 2008.; that's me on the left and Max on the right. I weighed 136 lbs. then and Max weighed 135 lbs. I think I'm growing because I get lots of sleep. We found this video on the Internet of this very nice man helping his little puppies get to sleep. I don't remember anyone singing softly to us at night to help us go to sleep. I kinda remember someone shouting at us to shut up and go to sleep. Anyway, I would have liked to have someone sing me to sleep when I was a puppy. .....Max, what do you mean I can still do that? Really? Because we're only 15 months old? We're really puppies until we're 24 months old? So I'm still a pup? You're not kidding me are you? OK. That's great. I want someone to sing me to sleep now! .......... HEY DAD. - TBH

Hi pups! How are you all doing? Mum says if we lived closer (like maybe in the same country) she'd be happy to adopt Taffy but sadly we can't. It's not fair, I want a puppy of my own!

Hi Bumpass Hounds!

That's a really cute video. Our Mom sings to us too, but she's not very good (shhh.. don't tell her we said that!)

Sorry we didn't get over here to visit you sooner. For some reason your blog feed doesn't seem to work in our feedreader, so Mom says we'll just have to remember to stop by from time to time.

Love & lots of Licks,
Willow and Stella

We're stopping in to say hello because we saw Homer and Jubal and Jeb and Jack on the bone relay and wondered, who are those beautiful dogs? Having discovered by trial and error that you're the Bumpass Hounds from Virginia, we just wanted to tell you that you have two foxy admirers in South Florida!!

Wasn't that bone relay fantastic???

Can't believe we haven't met before!! But then we see how busy you are in your well populated household.

So woofs!!!

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
