SLACKER'S POST

Shelby Belle, the puppy from hell, here with a quickie post today. I'm calling it a slacker's post because our computer interface, DAD, was busy doing a "honey, do.." list yesterday and got himself, his words, "plum tuckered out." So we didn't have time to come up with anything interesting or original. Hence a slacker's post. We want to send you off to visit two blogs with very interesting news and some original content. Our friend Mogley in Colorado has two new foster sister's living with him, Sandy and Abby (but NOT our Abby). I've stuck their photo down below. Y'all should stop by Mogleys blog and check out the new girls. Mogley's blog site is:
http://mogley-adogslife.blogspot.com/
Next we got very, very GREAT news from our BFF Spencer that he is still doing well and enjoying his time with his HM and HD. You should really go to Spencer's blog and read his last 3 or 4 postings since he's been diagnosed with cancer. He is a very spirited warrior and we pray for him every day. It is NOT a depressing blog site, just the opposite, so please stop by to visit and wish Spencer well because we do and we say so. That's Spencer down below showing off with THREE tennis balls in his mouth. (Jubal is the only one of us that can do the 3 ball thing.) Spencer's blog site is:

Anyway, that's our slacker's post for today. Dad will try to work on his "tag" list today so that we might have something original of our very own to post tomorrow. Y'all have a good day and a good week.

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
