COAST-TO-COAST K9 FASHION RAGE

Y'ALL GOTTA GET ONE
TO BE IN THE IN CROWD

<-- Titus in L.A CA. (West Coast)

Sophie in Bumpass, VA (East Coast) -->

All of the cool canines have one. You can't get into Emril's without one. Don't walk down 5th Avenue without it. What is it you ask in ignorance. Why it's the famous Blue Tire Inflatable Collar. If you're broken like Titus was, and you go to the vet's to get "fixed" it's a necessity to have your Blue Tire Inflatable Collar around your neck to hinder those urges to lick away the hurt - socially unacceptable. If you're super allergic like Sophie, and you chew yourself raw like hamburger whenever a bug bites you, then it' a necessity to have your Blue Tire Inflatable Collar to suppress the urge you get to draw blood from your butt. The Blue Tire Inflatable Collar is much more of a fashion statement than the traditional dunce cap worn around your neck, and beside, it can also be used as a portable pillow that's always there when you feel the urge to nap instead of nip.

Y'all know Sophie but you may not know Titus. Both of these dogs are rescued dogs. Sophie was being "fostered' by The Bumpass Hounds until we decided that she belonged here with us. She is yet another failed foster. Titus is being fostered by M&S, Spencer's peeps, out in LA LA Land (LAX). Titus is available for adoption to the right family willing to give him a furever home through the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. You can find out more about Titus over at The Dog By Nature Blog . Oh, and he's not wearing his Blue Tire Inflatable Collar anymore. Why not stop over there and find out more about Titus. If you're in the Middle Atlantic area and are interested in adopting a Golden, check out our friends at Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary.

That is a very cool inflatable tire, where did you get that?
As you can see I have a camouflagecolor which also is a little bit different in shape. My Mom & Dad said they would like to get me one like you guys have.

Finally there is something humane and comfy for dogs other than those darned cones! I think I'll get one to put in my canine dog first aid kit in case Scout or Freyja should need one.

Now you tell us about the inflatable collar. We could have used one for Buddy. Shhhh, we have to whisper so he doesn't hear. Jan tried one of those cone things once. She put it on upside down. What a hoot!

Boy, with a blue inflatable collar we could swim forever. It looks much cooler than the life jackets they made me wear when I went on our cousins boat.

The Bumpass Hounds do such a wonderful job. You asked if you could use some material from my blog, you certainly can. We wold do whatever we can do to help another rescue family that has done as much as you have.

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies currently is trying to place Daisy, an 8 year old Golden that is losing her eyesight. We may need some suggestions and help from you guys.

Thanks for all you do!

I suppose it is more stylish than a lampshade but I'd rather just wear my Huffle collar, if that's okay.

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
