WRECKED WUBBA

SOPHIE CAN KILL ANY TOY
Heya Hounders,
We were just over at The Army of Fours blog reading Dave's praises about the Wubba in his explaination of what a Wubba is for the gang over at Jan's Funny Farm. We agree with him about extolling the fabulous facets of the Wubbab, but our Wubba did, unfortunately, fail the Sophie toy stress test. The Wubba in question, a Landseer like Max and Shiloh (B&W) was purchased by dad for Ms. Sophie in recognition of her passing through (downward) the 100 lbs weight goal on her diet. Sophie really liked the Wubba but perhaps she liked it a little too much. It only lasted about two days. She dismembered it with the skill of a surgeon performing an autopsy. Oh well, it's the thought that counts and she really did enjoy killing it. Only the CUZ has survived and even that had its' squeaker disemboweled on the first day in residence thanks to Sophie. Oh yeah, the Kongs also have survived intact.

I kill most of my toys, too, but I've never tried the wubba. I haven't liked my kong enough to destroy...I mean play with it much.

Wow! That's very amazing. We have a few wubbas but we don't really care for them much. Even Wilbur has one!

Woo. This explains why Mom only lets us have the Wubba when it's her and one of us with the Wubba in the backyard. Does that sound like something out of Clue? "The Siberian and the Wubba in the backyard..."? Ha woo.
I'm glad lots of the friends I sent over signed in! You're almost to all 50 states!
Luv,
Dave

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
