MONDAY MYSTERY GUEST

Hey Hounders,
It's sweet little Jenny with the answer to last Monday's Mystery Guest and the clues for this Monday's Mystery Guest. remember, all of our Mystery Guests are selected from amongst (is that a real word?) our followers; so the MG is listed up in our follower section.

OK. Here's a review of last week's Mystery Guest clues along with how they tie in:

1. MG is a laborer with some french origins.
The MG is a working dog (laborer) and is a breed which is part french poodle.

2. MG is all mixed up but a great assistant with a heart of golden.
The MG is a mixed breed tht's part Golden Retriever and works as a personal service (assistance) dog.

3. Although MG's a doodle, he's not a yankee.
The MG is a Goldendoodle

4. MG's favorite cartoon character could be Blarney Rubblestone because of his eloquence.
The Blarney Stone is a block of bluestone built into the battlements of Blarney Castle, Blarney about 5 miles (8 km) from Cork, Ireland.

5. MG's probably seen the dish with the fish down on Grafton Street.

"Molly Malone" (also known as "Cockles and Mussels" or "In Dublin's Fair City" is a popular song, set in Dublin, Ireland, which has become the unofficial anthem of Dublin City. Molly is commemorated in a statue designed by Jeanne Rynhart, erected to celebrate the city's first millennium in 1987. Placed at the top of Grafton Street in Dublin, this statue is known colloquially as "The Tart With The Cart," "The Dish With The Fish," and "The Trollop With The Scallops."

6. MG likes it when someone gives MG a bono.
Paul David Hewson, KBE (born 10 May 1960), most commonly known by his stage name Bono, is an Irish singer and musician, best known for being the main vocalist of the Dublin-based rock band U2.

7. Known to hang with Baile Átha Cliath.
Dublin is both the largest city and capital of Ireland. It is officially known in Irish as Baile Átha Cliath or Áth Cliath; the English name comes from the Irish Dubh Linn meaning "black pool". It is located near the midpoint of Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey and at the centre of the Dublin Region.

8. MG likes you too.
U2 are -a rock band formed in Dublin , Ireland .

9. MG's favorite color may be green.
Shamrock green is the color of green used in the flag of the Republic of Ireland, and therefore it is also called Irish green.

10. MG can ride on an electric dart.
The Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) is part of the suburban railway network in Ireland. Trains are electric powered via a 1500V DC overhead catenary along part of the Irish Rail Network

So our MG is an assistance Goldendoodle from Dublin, Ireland. That would be none other than CLIVE: ASSISTANCE DOG FOR AUTISM

We didn't get many guesses, only two in fact. Brodie and Ailsa and Ruby Red Dog were the only two guessers as of yesterday and they were absolutely correct and even had the blogsite correct. We figure that we'll try one more Monday Mystery Guest from our followers and see if we get more than two guesses this week. If not, we'll try something else later on. Heck, we gave it a shot.

This week's Monday Mystery Guest clues are:

1. MG originated 2/3rds from the area of vast forrests in the north of Russia.

2. A medicine man writing prescriptions for happy hearts.

3. To visit the MG you'd better bring along a bumbershoot just in case and go by SEA.
4. Near the sound of water where the seahawks roost and mariners anchor.

5. The sevens all fly away from nearby.

6. A dog can be a cat by name only.

7. The number that sang about riding the MTA to watch Tom Dooley hang and got wooed.

8. They favor a breed that plays football near them.

9. There's plenty of iron oxide and space to thread a needle..

10. Two against the one who owned a talking horse.

Bonus: What's the MG blog site?

We were very good and didn't look at the comments until we had the answer. This one was a bit tricky for a while, but we finally got it! It's Kat, Steve and their buddy Wilbur (okay, so Mum had to google the talking horse clue). Very good clues!

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
