GUESS THE MYSTERY GUEST

Hey Hounders, Shelby Belle, the puppy from hell, with this week's MYSTERY GUEST. Here are the Clues, with answers, to last week's MYSTERY GUEST:

Clue 1:This is a close up photograph of the Mystery Guest:

Clue 2:"It's A Boy." He's the younger, not necessarily smaller, of a dynamic duo. The younger brother.

Clue 3:He probably has a "Sopranos" bark. New Jersey resident

Clue 4:He probably likes Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Bruce is from New Jersey

Clue 5:He can hang with Michael Phelps. A good swimmer

Clue 6:H2OK9 Water (H2O) Dog (K-9)

Clue 7:St. Johns Is in Newfoundland

Clue 8:Tom Hanks starred in a movie that's title aptly describes this guy. Big

Clue 9:His people mom would've had a big spayed hairdo in the 60s if she had been born soon enough. Jersey hair

Clue 10:He and his brother together are like The Four Seasons on Broadway. The Jersey Boys

Who is the MYSTERY GUEST? Well as Gus so aptly phrased it: Is that Pooka? As in "Nanook and Pooka?" The funniest newfs on the planet? As in http://nanookthenewfy.blogspot.com/

Handsome Jersey Boy Pooka

Bonus: What's his blog site? Gus got it.

We had a lot of responses to last week's MYSTERY GUEST. Thanks to our little buddy Fred, beautiful Khyra, and our new friend Wallis (along with Margaret) , Brodie and Ailsa Bugalugs, and Steve, Kat and Wilbur (The Washington Woos). Baltimore?

We had a number of correct guesses from the following: Gus, Army of Four (Storm, Dave, Ammy & Zim), and Hamish & Sophie along with Bob.

Good job and congratulations to y'all for getting that our MYSTERY GUEST was none other than Pooka of Nanook and Pooka fame.

Before I get to today's MYSTERY GUEST, I have a Bonus, Bonus question. You can click on the picture to make it easier to see the individual bricks. I expect a lot of you studious mathematics pets will get this correct:

Bonus, Bonus: What is the number of bricks that it took to complete the brick walk shown in this photograph? Is that your final answer?

Oh, cool! We thought that was Pooka!
Hmm... the bricks. Storm said I should go for the unexpected... so I'll say NONE, it's stamped concrete made to look like bricks.
Worth a shot.
The only black cat I know is Huffle, so I'll go with her!
Play bows,

We only know one black cat - Huffle, so we'll say her.

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
