CAT-O-LYMPICS EVENT ENTRIES PT 2

CAT-O-LYMPICS
HUFFLE MAWSON, EXPLORER CAT SPONSORED
BUMPASS KITTIES (HOUNDS)
COMPETIVE NAPPING EVENT ENTRIES
PART II

Huffles Rules
:
The rules for competitive napping are really easy. All you have to do is submit a photo of you napping. Preferably in a spot you're not meant to be, but any photo of you taking a nap is eligible.

You can email Huffle the photo, or post it on your own blog and leave her a comment to tell her it's there, or you can post it on your own blog and email her to tell her it's there. It's that simple. You can enter any time between now and midnight Friday (midnight wherever you are). If you post the photo on your own blog and tell her about it, you are giving me permission to borrow the photo to post on Huffle's blog for the finals on the weekend. All competitors will have their photos on her blog on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday will be the medal ceremony. If you email Huffle your entry, please make sure you include your name, and your blog address so she can make sure your photo links back to the right spot.

So get napping everyone! All kitties, and pups who think they can nap as well as kitties (what dog can't), are eligible to enter.

I have been trying to snap a photo of Teka Napping, because she is very good at it, and very creative. However, all her napping is done UNDER the covers or UNDER the pillows or UNDER the sofa shawls. I need one of those cameras that the camera dog has. I think I am conceding this one

Those are great entries for the competition - and your other post had good ones too. And we are so sorry about Chandler - we are sending lots of purrs and prayers to his family.

Has it really been a year already? There have been so many others in this time and each one was precious.

Good luck in the cat-o-lympic event.

STEP UP TO ADOPT A PET

If you can, please consider opening your home to a homeless animal, preferably a dog or cat or other domesticated animal; livestock does better on farms and wild animals do better in zoos and parks. Your local Humane Society or SPCA or Animal Shelter has a wide selection of could be, should be, pets looking for new homes. If you can't adopt, perhaps you can at least become a sponsor. We'll show you how to help out Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary (AHGRRS) on our blog page, but you can help out any organization of your choice, but please help; contribute or volunteer.

PLEASE HELP SPONSOR A SENIOR OR SPECIAL NEEDS GOLDEN

CAN'T ADOPT; BECOME AN ANGEL.
So many Senior and Special Needs Goldens do not find "forever homes". Many of these dogs have above average medical needs and costs, are maintained on "special" diets, or have other extraordinary needs. Your donations can be targeted towards a particular Senior or Special needs Golden Retriever. As a sponsor, you will receive updates about your "special" Golden, and will be mentioned in our quarterly newsletter as the dog's sponsor. We also accept Paypal donations. Please keep in mind that we are a non-profit organization and that your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please just write the Golden's name in the memo line of your check or Paypal submission when sponsoring a Golden Retriever.
