Well here we are again. The stars and satellites are all aligned and here we are. We were catching up on our reading and commenting yesterday but thought we'd go ahead and invade you privacy today. Dad has been checking your blogs from work and reporting back to us. We are thankful that our blog buddy Max Dog is still with us and enjoying his cherished Grace time with Ms. Caryl and the rest of his pack; Tammy, Tommy and MR. Toffee. Max's blog was recently featured on the BBC Blogworld so check it out.
It has been raining here for quite a few days and the paddock and Newf pen are mud pits. Consequently we've had to spend a lot of time in the house tracking that mud around. We lounge around and that invites the flashy beast to try to capture our digital images and steal a bit of our souls.
We also want to thank the gang at Jan's Funny Farm, Khyra and her mom (and Merdie too) and Gus and Teka and Muzzer for keeping up the Bumpass Hound tradition of encouraging their readers and followers to continue to vote for Trooper Jessica and in the Shelter Challenge. This was something that they willingly did for us while we were experiencing technical difficulties.
St. Patrick's Day is the 17th so don't forget to stop by Clive's blog and wish him, the NSLM and all of the very Irish family all a Happy St. Paddy's Day. We wonder if we'll be having corn beef and cabbage for dinner that night.
You may recall Harry the Golden Retriever from Boston who's mom died last month from the dreaded breast cancer. Well Harry and his dad, Robert, have a new post on their blog so stop by and leave a word of condolence and encouragement if you could please. We hope that they will eventually be able to return to the blog world on a regular basis but we understand if they choose not to. It is a difficult life transition that they are going through.
Sophie got to ROTE (Ride On The Errands) today in the Suburban with mom and dad. She even got not one, but two, McDoubles (without onions) on the way home, AND dad split his large order of fries with Sophie 50/50. And what did the rest of us get? We got to smell the fries and burgers on Sophie's snout, that's what.- The Bumpass Hounds and Kitties
