Their are many blogs written by dogs and their owners. We follow many but several are very dear to our hearts because they are tireless workers for Rescue. One of them is A Dogs Life, the real story http://mogley-adogslife.blogspot.com/
Below is a recent post by Mogley G. Retriever. We're a bit late in getting out the word, but dad says "better late than never." Mogley and his humans alone have helped foster close to 70 Goldens in order to give them a forever home and a new start on life. TBH&K are asking all of our Golden Seniors friends to, as Mogley says, "Read our stories and then help by passing them along. We are seeking to give more people a reason to get involved, more volunteers to help save a few more lives."
We also ask that if you believe, as we do, that Rescue is so very important ,and since so many are not even aware of the various rescue programs, please post this to the groups that you visit. We Thank you,
Thanks to Sheila & Bob for passing this to our dad at work.
We ask a favor of you. <http://mogley-adogslife.blogspot.com/2010/10/we-ask-favor-of-you.html>

For the next week or so, I am going to collaborate with my humans on a series for the blog. They were asked to write a short piece on "Why we volunteer for Rescue", for the rescue newsletter. By the time the short piece was done, it was 6 pages and still growing. The rescue only had room to print a few of the stories on our fosters and their journey through life. The story may never be done because each new foster that comes through our home is another story, another life that can be helped to find a new life, a new beginning.
We need to ask a favor of you. We will be telling the stories of many of the dogs that we and others have rescued and telling how they were helped along their way. It is a long story and an important story, especially for those who are not involved in rescue daily and do not understand what these dogs go through and how they are helped on a journey to a new life. We are nearing 70 fosters that we have helped but our volunteers have helped thousands to date. Each one is a story, each one is a reason for joy, each one is a reason for tears. We want the world to know why these dogs become "orphans", and we want the world to know how they are helped to find new lives by the hundreds of rescue volunteers that help them along the way. Can you make it a point to help us find new readers? Read our stories and then help by passing them along. We are seeking to give more people a reason to get involved, more volunteers to help save a few more lives.
